Sena 5S is a new generation intercom with a built-in LCD display .

The new 5S intercom is an extension of the bestseller SENA SMH5 and takes over its best features and functions, additionally expanded with a built-in LCD display, HD speakers and a sound equalizer .

The new display makes it easy to quickly verify connections and settings before putting on the helmet. Conversely, intercom functions can also be managed hands-free while riding using voice commands supported in 8 languages. You can also use the Sena Utility app on your smartphone to set up the 5S intercom with the press of a button.

The Sena Utility app also provides access to four equalizer presets: bass boost, balance, midrange or treble boost.

Due to the lower voltage of 5V, other, more powerful chargers cannot be used to charge the central unit. SENA intercoms are only compatible with 5V USB chargers.

A third-party USB charger may be used with SENA products only if that charger is approved by FCC, CE, IC or other locally approved agencies that SENA accepts.

Using an unapproved charger may cause fire, explosion, leakage or other hazards, and may also reduce battery life or performance.

Unlike motorcycle navigation systems, most car navigation systems do not have the option of connecting to an intercom and sending messages to it, so there may be a situation in which the SENA intercom will not connect to your car navigation system.
