Mirrored glass - additional indications:
It is not recommended to clean mirror glass with any chemical agents. This can cause a reaction between the glass and the chemical, which will lead to fogging and distorting the vision, as well as degrading the mirror surface. It is recommended to use warm water and a fabric cloth as soon as possible after the glass has become dirty.
If dirt remains on the glass for a longer period of time, it is recommended to clean it thoroughly and gently, adding warm water several times. Scrubbing the contaminated surface too hard can lead to the surface of the glass being worn away. The same effect can occur when using a low-quality, stiff cloth. Due to the technology used to apply the mirror coating, its durability in extreme conditions while riding a motorcycle is definitely shorter than that of tinted glass, i.e. colourless or tinted without a mirror layer.
